Welcome to the Men’s Section at Picton Golf & Country Club

Open to every member, from the seasoned veteran to the newcomer, the Men’s Section is the hub for connecting with others who share a passion for golf. Our goal is simple: to get you out on the course, improve your game, and—most importantly—introduce you to a great group of guys who share your passion for the sport.

At Picton Golf & Country Club, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming environment where “playing with the same foursome” is a choice, not a requirement. We actively encourage members to branch out, meet new faces, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes our club special.

What’s Happening This Season

We offer a robust calendar designed to keep your competitive spirit alive and your social life active:

Signature Events: From the high-energy Men’s Opening to the storied Club Championship and our season-ending Closing Day, these events are the cornerstones of our calendar.
Weekly Leagues: We host two distinct leagues that run throughout the season, offering flexible formats that cater to both the “die-hard” competitor and the casual player. Click here to see the Men’s Leagues.

Intra-Club Events: Competition Among Friends

Beyond our leagues and major championships, we host a wide variety of intra-club events designed to keep the season exciting. These internal tournaments are the perfect way to test your game in a friendly, high-stakes environment without leaving our home turf.

Jenkins – Evans Two-Ball Trophy	Select Drive/Alternate Shot	Play from white tees	60% lowest hcp team member 40% highest hcp team member	Team Match Play using combined team playing handicap calculations. Most holes won determines winner.
Essroc Four Ball Trophy	2 man best ball stroke play	Play from white tees	85%	Team Stroke/Medal Play. Lowest NET score per hole used as team score. Lowest NET score over 18 holes determines winner.
Lou Garrison Trophy	Individual match play	Play is from red tees.	100%	Individual Match Play using stroke allocations. Most holes won determines winner.

MAXIMUM COURSE HANDICAP: The maximum allowable handicap is set at 40. Players with handicaps over 40 will play to a 40.

PLAYING HANDICAP: Your Playing Handicap is determined by multiplying your Course Handicap (for the tees being played) by the correct Handicap Allowance (for the stroke or match play format being played) and adding any difference in Course Par.
